Psychologists
Kristy Becker, PhD
is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with forensic training and experience. She moved to Alaska in 2013, and served as the Chief Forensic Psychologist for the State of Alaska for several years. She has interests including court-ordered evaluations of adults and juveniles, competency to stand trial, other competencies in legal and civil proceedings, culpability, mitigation, risk assessment, diagnostic clarification, education, consultation, and program evaluation and development. Dr. Becker has over 20 years of varied career experience in mental health care, law enforcement, and crisis intervention. In her free time she enjoys traveling, entertaining her two dogs, and being outdoors.

Kaichen McRae, PhD
is a licensed psychologist with a specialty in Forensic Psychology. She moved to Alaska in 2014 to complete her training, and chose to remain here to begin her practice. Much of her work in the state has been in the area of Competency to Stand Trial, completing court-ordered evaluations and restoration treatment. She also has expertise in a variety of other types of clinical and forensic practice. Some of her particular areas of interest include evaluations to provide opinions on culpability, risk, diagnostic clarification, and treatment recommendations, as well as consultation and program evaluation. When not at work, she enjoys theater, raising chickens, and exploring Alaska.
